JOB SPECIFICATION

Kee Safety Group is seeking an Environmental / Sustainability Coordinator to join our world-class fall protection organisation.  In this position, you will deliver first-rate support to our global sites, collaborating closely with the Site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Leads. Your role will be instrumental in cultivating a unified approach to environmental and sustainability matters across all levels of the organisation.

JOB DUTIES

  • Innovate and execute sustainability training initiatives.
  • Develop novel strategies to enhance greenhouse gas assessment and reduction.
  • Conduct environmental evaluations at group sites, advising on enhancements for environmental performance.
  • Collaborate on the delivery and expansion of our sustainability training offer.
  • Assist the Group HSE manager with advancing our 'move less, waste less, use less' sustainability agenda.
  • Provide support in compiling and analysing HSE reports and data across multiple sites.
  • Drive the adoption of sustainable practices in line with our sustainability programs and policies across all group sites.
  • Initiate and apply innovative solutions to uplift sustainability performance in operations.
  • Liaise with site Managers and support other business units in addressing environmental queries.
  • Aid in producing sustainability-focused content for social media and other marketing outlets.
  • Conduct internal and external communications championing the sustainability vision of the business.
  • Travel as necessary to evaluate adherence to group and ISO environmental /sustainability standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A relevant degree-level education or equivalent experience, possibly with professional memberships (e.g., CIBSE, Energy Institute, or IEMA).
  • BSc degree or equivalent in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or Geography is preferred.
  • An understanding or background in evaluating greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Skilled in analysing extensive data sets and using your findings to drive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in producing clear written reports that convey results and insights effectively.
  • Proven experience engaging with and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Working within a Science-Based Initiatives-based programme would be an advantage.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Demonstrated passion and expertise in sustainability.
  • Preferred experience in education or training in sustainability or environmental practices.
  • Personally motivated to drive business opportunities forward.
  • Individual contributor and team player.
  • Able to learn & adapt in a growing environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's licence.
